Canyon County Pet of the Week: Mistletow Mojito
Mistletoe Mojito is a very handsome 2 year old Border Collie blend. We have been told he may have some Great Pyrenees in him, but we are not sure. He has a short, easy to care for black and white coat with some freckling on his face. Mistletoe is dog friendly, food motivate, leash trained and most likely has his house manners in place including potty training. He is a little reserved at first meeting but opens up quickly with reassurance and lots of pets. Working breeds are very intelligent dogs and thrive with consistency and activity. Mistletoe’s best match would be with an active family who can challenge him with fun games and perhaps enrolling in a sport such as agility. They are not couch potatoes and will make their own fun, sometimes to your dismay, if they are left to their own devices. Border Collies make excellent family companions and ranch dogs. Mistletoe is microchipped, vaccinated and scheduled to be neutered before going to his new home.
Mistletoe Mojito resides in Dog Adoptions here at the West Valley Humane Society located at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11am until 7pm and closed on Sundays. We will be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
