Meridian pet of the week: Mikey

Mikey, 1 1/2, is a gorgeous blend of black Labrador and Akita. He loves to be around people, however with his size and high energy, he might benefit from an obedience training class. Mikey will likely to be too much for very young children. Mikey might not be house-trained but he’s working on it along with basic commands. Mikey is ball- and treat-driven and works hard and long, which is exactly what he needs to burn off all that energy.
