Canyon County pet of the week: Mesa

Mesa, 2, is an easy-going dog with a family oriented personality. It appears that she will do well with most any family. Mesa is a mix of retriever with a little kelpie and cattle dog. She does not appear to have a drive to herd but should be monitored around cats and livestock until she settles in. Mesa is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and available for $80.

Mesa is in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org
