Meridian Pet of the Week: Ginger

Ginger
Ginger

Ginger, 8, is a special kind of girl. She came to MCR after losing her family. She was taken in by a friend of the family at first, but just didn’t do well with the other dog in the home. Ginger was really confused and not doing well in the shelter environment so a very patient person came to her aid and became her foster mom.

Ginger is pretty particular about people. She’s been through a whole lot in her life and is not the kind of girl that is going to trust a person straight away, She needs some time and a whole lot of patience before she will show her true self.

Ginger is not one of those ‘needy’ kind of pups, she won’t beg you for attention all the time, but what she will do is be with you, a companion of sorts. She loves being with her person and definitely doesn’t want to be left alone all the time, but she understands space. Just like she likes to have her space, she would return the favor and give her forever human space too. Ginger loves to go on walks and would certainly approve of some of those wonderful belly rubs that her foster mom has taught her are so great.

If you think you might be the right person for Ginger, you may have to meet a couple of times to be sure, but she would love to be given the opportunity to find a forever human to call my very own.

If you would like to meet Ginger please contact us at 208-794-0944 to schedule a meet and greet.
