Canyon County Pet of the Week: Nino

Nino, 1-1/2, is a slim-and-trim black Labrador Retriever blend who is right-sized at 55 pounds.

Nino is gorgeous, friendly, happy, quiet, good on leash, and enjoys the company of other dogs — can’t ask for much more. All that he asks for is an indoor forever home and outdoor containment area to keep him safe from wandering. Although he can be independent, Nino was adopted and returned because of chewing. He would be a good candidate for crate training.

Nino’s special adoption fee of $80 includes neuter, current vaccines, and microchip.

Come meet Nino at West Valley Humane Society, 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Learn about him and other adoptable pets at .
