Ada County Pet of the Week: Otis Winslow

Otis Winslow
Otis Winslow

Otis Winslow, 2, is an 11-pound neutered male Domestic Shorthair. Otis was surrendered to the shelter due to his previous owners having landlord issues. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy that is a little overwhelmed by the shelter environment. You may find him hiding in his cubby hole or under some warm blankets. He’s shy, but he does appreciate gentle pets and attention. He would be best-suited in a quieter, calmer home as an only-cat. Otis is independent and doesn’t mind spending time alone, but he is very snuggly and loving with those he trusts. He enjoys chin scratches, cheek rubs, and curling up next to you in a sunny spot. He would be an ideal pet for someone that is looking for animal companionship but isn’t necessarily home all the time.

Otis Winslow (#38876662) is available for adoption and can be found in Cattery Kennel 104 at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information about Otis Winslow and other adoptable pets, go to idahohumanesociety.org
