Meridian Pet of the Week: Chimi

Chimi

Chimi, 15, was surrendered to an overcrowded county shelter in Arizona by his family and would do well in a quiet home here in the Treasure Valley. Sue at Annie’s Rescue Ride in Phoenix kept Chimi for two weeks awaiting a ride to Idaho and reports: “He gets along with other dogs, but because of this advanced age, he doesn’t tolerate dogs who are in his face and who are too rambunctious. Chimi is housebroken, rides well in the car and will walk on a leash with some encouragement. For this age, he is in very good health. His old man eyes are cloudy, but that doesn’t affect his eyesight too much. He has not been cat or child tested. Chimi. Sue reports Chimi was stressed from his move to the Arizona shelter but eventually settled down so his next home should be his last.
