Canyon County Pet of the Week: Belle Starr

Belle Starr
Belle Starr

Belle Starr, 3, is a female American pit bull terrier mix who was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. She is housetrained. She does not react to the other dogs but does not do well with cats. She knows sit, stay, lay down and wait. She loves to play with toys, especially Kong brand. She loves treats. She is a friendly, happy, playful and affectionate girl. She will need a securely fenced yard so she can run and play safely and will enjoy going on walks. As always, please bring in the whole family and other household dogs for a meet and greet prior to adoption. Belle’s adoption fee includes current vaccinations, a micro-chip and spay.

Belle Starr is in the dog adoptions wing at West Valley Humane Society, 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. Learn about them and other adoptable pets at www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org.
