Jonathan, 1, is a 61-pound neutered male Anatolian shepherd-Australian cattle dog mix. He is a big, sweet boy who loves to give kisses and hugs, and he will even crawl into your lap if you let him. He is friendly with everyone he meets. Due to his calm, easy-going temperament, we think he would do well in a home with respectful children. He gets along well with other dogs, although he can sometimes play a little roughly. Because of his play style, an introduction to any potential canine housemates is required. Jonathan has not been evaluated with cats, but previous information indicates he would be best in a home without them. He knows a few commands but is willing to learn more — he is motivated by treats and praise. Jonathan will need an active home that can give him plenty of exercise and playtime. Fetch and tug-of-war are two of his favorite games to play.
