Canyon County Pet of the Week: Hatch
Hatch, 3, is a male Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray. He weighs 53 pounds. We think he is house-trained. He has nice leash manners and reacts only slightly to dogs when passing by them indoors and out, and he seems to get along with other dogs. He is active and energetic, yet has a calm and gentle demeanor as well. Hatch is a happy, friendly and playful boy. He likes you to chase him when he plays.
Hatch will need to go to a home with children older than 10. He will need a securely fenced yard so he can run and play safely. He’d love a family of his own to play with outdoors and spend quality time with. Come in and meet this awesome boy. As always, bring in the whole family and other household dogs for a meet and greet prior to adoption. Our trained staff will properly introduce everyone.
Hatch is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. All included in his adoption package. Come spend a little time with him and you’ll fall in love.
Plus, now through July 4 all dogs older than 6 months, including Hatch, are 20 percent off.
Hatch is located in the dog adoption wing at West Valley Humane Society, 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. You can learn about him and all our adoptable pets at www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org.
