Ada County Pet of the Week: Tu-Tone

Tu-Tone
Tu-Tone

Tu-Tone, 5, is a 9-pound neutered male Chihuahua mix. He is a handsome fellow with unique gray, cream and black coloring. And he is as charming as he is good-looking. Tu-Tone is happiest around people and enjoys being held and cuddled. For him, dozing off on a warm lap sounds like the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. He is also quite adventurous and playful. Watch him take the lead on the leash, and he will show his rather fearless spirit as he explores the world around him. Tu-Tone gets along well with other little dogs, although he doesn’t tolerate rough play. He would do best in a family with older, responsible children or with seniors who can take him out for plenty of walks.

Tu-Tone (#35457133) is available for adoption at the Idaho Humane Society’s PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center, 130 N. Milwaukee St. in Boise. The EAC is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day except Sunday, when it closes of 6 p.m. The main shelter is located at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise and open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. You can learn more and see other adoptable pets at idahohumanesociety.org.
