Ada County Pet of the Week: Zoey

Zoey, 4, is a spayed female domestic longhair with gorgeous black fur and stunning green eyes. She loves to be brushed, which is good as she will need help keeping her coat sleek and tangle-free. Zoey was surrendered to the shelter due to her family moving. She came from a full house with three other cats, three dogs and teenagers. She was friendly with all of them but appreciated having a safe place to hide out when things got loud or overwhelming. Zoey’s previous owner has recommended that she go to a home with a calmer environment, potentially as the only animal. If there will be other animals living with her, it is best that they are older and more relaxed. Zoey loves head scratches, tummy rubs and salmon-flavored treats.
