Lacy, 1, is an Australian cattle dog mix with a pretty red tick coat. She is a medium size at just 29 pounds. Lacy is a little thin and needs to add some weight with a healthy diet. She is a friendly dog, who will do well in a cat-free home. She plays well with other dogs and likes to chase back and forth. She appears to be housebroken as she will give subtle cues when she needs to go out. She walks well on a leash, listens well and comes when called and sits. She is calm, mellow and gentle, plus likes naps and rides well in the car. Lacy is not afraid of household items such as vacuum and laundry machine-noises. Lacy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed.
Lacy resides in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society located at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays. The shelter will be closing at 4 p.m. Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas. For more information on other adoptable pets visit www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org
