Ada County Pet of the Week: Max

Max
Max

Max, 3, is a 12-pound neutered male brindle and white Chihuahua mix. He is a confident, social little guy with a zest for life. He loves to be right next to his people and has a silly side that will be a constant source of entertainment for his new family. He’s a perfect fit for someone looking for a playful, affectionate smaller dog. Because of his exuberance and tendency to guard his toys and food, Max will need a home without children. Although he does like playing with some other dogs, he can be a bit picky about who his friends are and may be a bit too rough for some. He might prefer to be the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the love for himself.

You can meet Max (#33329224) at the Idaho Humane Society’s PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center, 130 N. Milwaukee St. in Boise. It is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day except Sunday, when it closes at 6 p.m. The main shelter is located at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
