Crowley, 2-1/2, is a 57-pound neutered male American pit bull terrier mix. He is a friendly dog who is always ready to meet new people — his tail wags for everyone. He enjoys attention and loves to cuddle. Crowley is playful and would love a selection of toys in his new home. He still hasn’t mastered the art of playing fetch (or at least the part about bringing the toy back), so this would be a great thing for his new owner to work with him on. Crowley is a high-energy dog who requires an active owner with the time and energy to keep up with him. Crowley has learned obedience commands, manners and tricks in the Inmate Dog Alliance Project of Idaho (IDAPI) program, but it will be important for his new owner to regularly reinforce his training. Crowley likes other dogs and wants to play with everyone, but some dogs don’t always appreciate his rough and vocal play style. Crowley is pretty strong, so a home with children 10 years or older would be best.
