Dakota, 1-1/2, is an 8-pound spayed female domestic shorthair with black and gray tabby markings. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up and will need a home with just adults or older, respectful children who will give her space — young kids just stress her out. Once she warms up, she is a total sweetheart. She loves to be scratched around her head and under her chin. She is a rather independent cat who likes to do her own thing and can act out a little when she is scared. However, she will let you know when she wants love and attention. She would do best as an indoor-only cat where she can feel safe. She will need to be the only animal in the home.
