After debuting at Julia Davis Park in 2015, the International Food & Culture Festival will not return to Boise in 2016.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, this year’s event will be postponed to August 2017,” the event’s website says.
Created to to fill the void left by the demise of the long-running Soul Food Extravaganza, the first International Food & Culture Festival took place in August 2015. It billed itself as a “free, family-friendly event” with “authentic cusines from around the world,” and also featured dancing, music and other ceremony.
