Gourmet vegan cinnamon rolls? You bet. Cinnaholic, a franchise that lets patrons customize the frosting flavors and toppings for their dairy-and egg-free cinnamon rolls, is coming to the Treasure Valley in 2016.

Florian and Shannon Radke founded Cinnaholic in Berkeley, California in 2009. It fell into the national spotlight when they appeared on ABC’s “Shark Tank” in 2014. Investor Robert Herjavec offered the Radkes $200,000 for a portion of their company, which they declined to follow their own vision.

Currently there are 27 Cinnaholic stores in development across the country.

Boise entrepreneurs and siblings, Angie Davies and Brian Haken will own the franchise. They’re still in negotiations for a location, according to publicist Sydney Treple of All Points Public Relations.

Cinnaholic cinnamon rolls are 100 percent dairy, lactose and egg free. So, far it does not make gluten free rolls.
