Starbucks Expands Its Summer Menu With 2 Vibrant New Drinks
Starbucks is already expanding its summer menu with a series of new tropical-inspired drinks.
Yes, you read that right. The international coffee giant's core summer menu (which includes the new Tropical Butterfly Refresher and return of the Iced Horchata Shaken Espresso) only dropped last week, and now the company is giving fans a set of "naturally vibrant" beverages to look forward to.
Heading to Starbucks menus later this season are two coconut-flavored beverages, each with a touch of blue spirulina that gives the drinks a bright blue hue.
Starbucks Is Launching 2 New Coconut-Flavored Drinks This Summer
On Monday, May 18-the day before its highly anticipated Miffy merch collab launched-Starbucks teased the arrival of its Blue Coconut drink collection, which includes a signature matcha and a refresher: the Iced Blue Coconut Matcha and Blue Coconut Refresher.

Starbucks said its new Iced Blue Coconut Matcha is "tropical and creamy" and blends "sweet mango flavors with toasted coconut cold foam." A touch of blue spirulina lends a "naturally vibrant color that complements the drink's tropical flavors."
It described its new Blue Coconut Refresher as a "crisp" beverage that combines coconut, strawberry, and açaí flavors with a touch of blue spirulina. It's the "ultimate pick‑me‑up for summer days on the go." It can be customized with lemonade or coconut milk, as well as customers' preferred level of caffeine and B vitamins.
When Will Starbucks' New Iced Blue Coconut Matcha and Blue Coconut Refresher Be Available?
Both of Starbucks' new drinks-the Iced Blue Coconut Matcha and Blue Coconut Refresher-will be available for a limited time this summer beginning on Tuesday, June 16 (prices may vary).
