Treasure Valley taco bracket 2025: Vote for your favorite eateries in Round 1

Last week, we asked for your favorite spots — both traditional and unexpected — to grab tacos in the Treasure Valley. You delivered.

We’ve compiled a list of 28 restaurants, taquerias and taco trucks throughout the valley and created the Treasure Valley Taco Bracket.

Now it’s your turn to vote and help crown the area’s top taco spot. One clear favorite did emerge in our poll submissions, but we’re keeping that under wraps — if past Statesman brackets are any indication, it’s still anyone’s game!

Local favorite El Gallo Giro is matched up against Casa Mexico, while Tin Roof Tacos is up against Pueblo Lindo in another tight match-up.

Those are just two of the 14 choices you have to make in Round 1. So scroll down and take a minute to go through these head-to-head face-offs and help decide which 14 taco restaurants will move on to round 2 next week. Voting closes at noon Friday.
