Update: The Caffeinated 8: Voting is closed. Here’s who advanced to the final four
The Treasure Valley community continues to show its love for local coffee shops. Nearly 1,000 people voted in round two of the Idaho Statesman’s coffee shop bracket, creating some incredibly tight contests between places vying for a spot in round three.
Alchemist Coffee squeezed past Form & Function by just 23 votes, and Zero Six Coffee Fix managed to bypass Slow by Slow by 47 votes.
But all is said and done, and only eight shops move on to round three ... The Caffeinated 8. But before you move on, check out all 32 Boise-area coffee shops that have participated in our bracket with the interactive map below.
Things are getting tight as we barrel toward the finals. The third round has the potential for some fireworks: Java Downtown against Big City Coffee and Cafe is just one of the four matchups.
