Food trucks are back at BSU this year
Boise State University is bringing in a bevy of food trucks this semester to help feed the midday masses on campus.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a rotating array of mobile-food vendors will set up shop west of the greenhouses between the science and education buildings.
The alternating lineup includes Mad Mac, Awesome Burger, Urban Smoke, Kono Pizza, Churro Bros. and The Gyro Shack. A Dutch Bros. Coffee mobile unit will be there on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make sure everyone is properly caffeinated.
In other BSU food news, Mai Thai has returned to campus this semester to give folks more dining choices in the Student Union Building food court. The local favorite dishes up Thai food and sushi offerings in the former Moxie Java spot from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Speaking of the student union, Idaho’s largest Starbucks debuted there in August. It’s open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
