Who's Returning for ‘Off Campus’ Season 2? Everything We Know About the Cast
Season 2 of the hit Prime Video series Off Campus is officially happening and fans are already buzzing,fan-casting their dream actors for beloved characters and speculating about which favorites will return to Briar U for the next chapter. But hockey fans, we have some bittersweet news: The cast has already confirmed that not everyone will be skating back onto our screens. So who’s in and who’s out? Below, we’re breaking down everything you need to know about the Off Campus season 2 cast, including the roles fans are most desperate to see brought to life.
Who will be in ‘Off Campus’ Season 2?
Returning to Off Campus season 2 are Antonio Cipriano, who plays John Logan, Ella Bright, who plays Hannah Wells, Belmont Cameli, who plays Garrett Graham and Jalen Thomas Brooks, who plays John Tucker.
Mika Abdalla, who plays Allie Hayes, and Stephen Kalyn, who plays Dean Di’Laurentis, are also expected to return. They will be the show’s primary couple, meaning that season 2 will follow The Score—book 3—in the Off Campus book series, which was written by bestselling author Elle Kennedy.
“It doesn’t really feel like we missed a beat. We had the press tour and then we went straight to Vancouver to get to work and it felt like we were just there,” Cameli said at Obsessed Fest earlier this year. “We’ve read a handful of episodes for this second season and the writing is still incredible. When we do a table read it’s really fun and we all clap and go ‘wow, we feel really lucky to be on this show.’ That’s what we felt last summer—and that’s how we feel right now.”
“When we first got to Vancouver, we just clicked,” he continued. “There’s really no secret sauce. It’s just a cast of people who got along really well. It was fun from the very beginning. We loved making this show together and we’re working on the second season right now and it’s just as fun.”
Is anyone not returning for ‘Off Campus’ Season 2?
As of now, the only cast member not returning for Season 2 is Josh Heuston, who played Justin. This didn’t come as much of a shock to fans, since Justin isn’t featured much in the books after the first installment, but it’s still sad since the actor was one of the most beloved—and best-looking—cast members in Season 1.
“[He is] not [in] next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,” creator Louisa Levy told TV Guide. “We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we’ll find a way to fold him into a future season. We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never.”
Is anyone joining the ‘Off Campus’ cast for Season 2?
New actors joining the Off Campus Season 2 cast include India Fowler, who will play John Logan’s love interest Grace Ivers, and Hamilton’s Phillipa Soo, who will play Scarlett, a guest director for an original play put on at Briar University.
There are also rumors someone could be cast as Tucker’s onscreen love interest Sabrina James in Season 2. That hasn’t been confirmed by Amazon, but fans are already casting Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin actress Maia Reficco in the role.
Thomas Brooks agreed with this fan-casting, telling ExtraTVearlier this year, “I think she’d be incredible.”
