British Shorthair Looks like a Toasted Marshmallow Flying through the Air
The internet has always been home to cute cats. And now, thanks to additions to our feeds from TikTok, we're thankfully exposed to even more adorable, ridiculously sweet felines.
Emily, who goes by @emsulu on TikTok, took to social media to share her adorable British Shorthair. He has a great jumping technique, and given his beautiful coloring, looks just like a little toasted marshmallow while flying through the air after a big leap.

What are British Shorthairs Like to Live With?
Aside from being absolutely adorable, British Shorthairs are excellent additions as a family pet. The breed is known for being easily adaptable, mellow, great in apartments, and full of personality.
British Shorthairs are very loyal and can be cuddly, though they're not super clingy cats or overly affectionate. They are on the lazy side and love to lounge and be around their people. These mellow, laid-back cats are great with other animals and kids and have even been described as "the ideal roommate."
British Shorthairs are great at being alone and don't require helicopter pet parents. While they are obviously playful as kittens, they tend to mellow out with adulthood and love to be lazy and sleep. This does make it important to watch their diets so they don't become overweight, which can impact their health.
If you're considering adding a British Shorthair to your home, they'll likely fit right in. Just make sure you have plenty of purr-fect places for them to jump so you too could have your own flying house marshmallow.
