March will have you seeing green, rocking out with hundreds of Treefort bands in Boise
March is here, which means St. Patrick’s Day is coming up quickly.
Are you ready to throw back some pints and get jiggy with some bagpipes?
Hit up downtown bars, where green beer will flow from the taps and the Boise Highlanders will be making the rounds.
If piping music really isn’t your jam, you are sure to find something that is when 500 bands play at Treefort Music Fest from March 25-29.
Not really an indie fan? Well, then, how about Tool (March 14), Ronnie Milsap (March 18), Brantley Gilbert (March 19), or Killswitch Engage (March 29)? And the Young Dubliners are making their nearly annual March trip to Idaho, with a show on Friday the 13th at the Revolution Center.
You can get your laugh on with comedians Kathleen Madigan (March 12), Iliza Shlesinger (March 15, early show only) or Jo Koy (March 19).
For those planning on getting their hands dirty with yard and garden projects, the Boise Spring Home and Garden Show (March 19-22) and the Boise Flower and Garden Show (March 27-29) will offer expert advice, new products and tons of inspiration.
And don’t forget about the Boise Roadster Show, which returns to Expo Idaho March 13-15 for not only cool cars and trucks, but a guest appearance by Spider-Man on Saturday and Sunday.
