Soroptimist Christmas gift update: 400 children and seniors still need wishes filled
Since 1946, Soroptimist International of Boise has sponsored a communitywide gift-giving project that benefits hundreds of individuals who might otherwise go without during the holidays due to financial or family circumstances.
Seniors living in local nursing homes/care centers and foster children located throughout Region 4 of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare are the recipients.
The Idaho Statesman has proudly co-sponsored this worthwhile project since 1971.
If you can participate in this “Secret Santa” activity this year, check the gift guide that published Nov. 28 to find a good fit. Collection sites will be receiving gifts through Friday, Dec. 13, and you will be touching someone’s life and making a difference.
To fulfill a holiday wish for someone on these lists, please visit Soroptimist International of Boise’s webcart at soroptimistboise.org/holiday.
Gifts should be placed in a gift bag, labeled with the recipient’s name and unique ID number, and delivered to one of the following locations by 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec 13.
