An 87-year-old man died Thursday afternoon after his all-terrain vehicle collided with a pickup truck.
John Kinghorn, of Nampa, was traveling on Ustick Road on a 2014 Honda ATV at around 9:48 a.m., according to the Idaho State Police. Dakota Bosworth, 31, was traveling in the same direction in a truck when Kinghorn’s ATV struck the vehicle as it attempted to pass, ISP said.
Kinghorn was taken to Boise’s Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, where he died. He was not wearing a helmet, ISP said.
The road was blocked for nearly two hours.
