Mountain lion spotted in East Boise neighborhood, but it hasn’t been caught yet
Around 7 a.m. Thursday, Boise Police responded to a mountain lion sighting in east Boise.
The mountain lion was seen in the 3700 block of Sweet Pea Court, but officers couldn’t locate the animal.
The witness told officers she saw the mountain lion walk through her property and head east in the direction of South Adonis Way.
The mountain lion did not act aggressively, and no pets have been reported missing or injured, police said. Idaho Fish and Game has been notified, and officers continue to monitor the area.
If anyone sees a mountain lion in the city, police encourage residents to report it to law enforcement immediately.
