Summer House's Lindsay Says Amanda Kissed Kyle as 'Decoy' for West Romance
Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard is dissecting the timeline leading up to Amanda Batula and West Wilson revealing their romance - including a telling kiss with Kyle Cooke.
During the Tuesday, April 28, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Bravo newbie Bailey Taylor described seeing Amanda, 34, kiss Kyle, 43, in late February, one month after they announced their split.
"She was grabbing his face and really heavily kissing him, and I was saying, ‘What is happening?'" Bailey, 30, recalled. "I said to West, ‘What are they doing?' He goes, ‘Let them do their thing.' Now I'm wondering, why did he say that?"
Lindsay, 39, offered her unfiltered take on the situation, saying, "Imagine using your husband as a decoy for your boyfriend? Wild!"
Lindsay also claimed that she didn't trust West, 31, and Amanda's version of events.
"I just think there is a difference between emotional and physical [connection]," she told host Andy Cohen. "And that things in an emotional capacity could have happened before. It's undeniable watching the season."
Lindsay also called out West for posting a photo of her 16-month-old daughter, Gemma, playing with his ex Ciara Miller as a way to seemingly throw people off as rumors spread about his status with Amanda earlier this year.
"He used my child as a bait click to sort of cover up his relationship," she said. "I didn't like that. And we talk about that at the reunion."
Shortly after Amanda and Kyle announced their breakup in January, speculation swirled about Amanda's potential connection with West - who previously dated Ciara, 30, in 2023.
Amanda initially denied the chances of dating another costar amid her separation from Kyle, while West insisted in March that he and Amanda were just friends. They confirmed their relationship soon after.
"It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. … We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected," read a joint statement last month. "Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
The couple received backlash from both their fans and costars, who gathered to film the Summer House season 10 reunion on Thursday, April 23. One day later, audio from the taping was leaked, and Bravo launched an investigation into the source.
"People laid their souls out emotionally for ten hours yesterday and it's disgusting and illegal for someone to leak or distribute this," Andy wrote via Threads after the audio was shared online. "It's disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday. Let the season play out. You will see it all in due time."
Bravo later offered an update into the situation.
"An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion," read a statement on Sunday, April 26. "As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken."
