Season one of “The Grinder,” a legal comedy set in Boise, is about to grind to a halt.

There are two episodes left in the Fox TV series, which airs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and stars Fred Savage and Rob Lowe as attorneys.

Will there be a season two? We don’t know yet.

Whatever the case, Savage recently appeared on TBS’ “Conan” promoting the show. Savage came across as likable and modest while describing a trip he made to Boise. Bonus points: Savage even pronounced “Boise” like a local.

Conan O’Brien’s sidekick, Andy Richter, made a predictably lame potato joke immediately. I get that the second-banana role is a tough job. But come on, man. Where’s Hank Kingsley when you need him?
