Sun Valley announces summer concert schedule

With Outlaw Field, Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater and weekly outdoor events such as Alive After Five, Boiseans have lots of options for outdoor concerts.

One summer destination that too many Idaho music fans overlook? Sun Valley.

Sun Valley Resort puts on several shows each year that are worth the trip. The resort issued a press release this morning detailing its summer concert schedule. Check it out below.

Sun Valley Resort announced today their summer concert schedule with shows at the Sun Valley Pavilion and River Run base area. Headliners Vince Gill and Amy Grant will be one of the main highlights of the Sun Valley Resort summer concert season. Presented by Sinclair Oil and Sun Valley Resort, the concert is scheduled for August 30 at the Sun Valley Pavilion. Tickets go on sale April 26 and may be purchased at the Sun Valley Recreation office or here.

The Sun Valley Resort summer concert season gets underway with the Sun Valley Wellness Festival shows on May 27 with Jewel and May 28 with MC Yogi. Collin Raye makes his Sun Valley appearance on June 28 at the Pavilion with tickets going on sale April 27. Tickets for Collin Raye may be purchased at the Sun Valley Recreation office or here.

The Midtown Men - featuring original cast members from Broadway’s Jersey Boys - perform on July 3, in conjunction with the Sun Valley Opera. Rounding out the schedule is the appearance of 2015 Tony Award Winner, Kelli O’Hara, along with opera sensation, Nathan Gunn, with A Salute to Broadway Under the Stars, presented by the Sun Valley Opera.
