The group will perform at a 6:30 p.m. show on Sunday, June 26. Boston last visited the Treasure Valley in 2014, when it gigged at Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater with opening act Night Ranger.
No “Sister Christian” this time, gang. But Boston guitarist Tom Scholz has plenty of his own classic-rock favorites to keep diehard fans singing along, such as “More Than a Feeling” and “Hitch a Ride.”
Tickets are $40 general-admission lawn, $50 general-admission seat. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, at TicketWeb.

As I wrote last week, classic-rock tours are becoming scarcer. When bands do perform, they often don’t include the same personnel that fans remember. The fan-shot video below provides a peek into Boston’s touring members in 2015. One thing you can count on is that the group will always sound good. Scholz, the lone original member, is a notorious perfectionist.
