Treefort Music Fest founder Lori Shandro Outen and two others will explore the music festival's roots and its quick rise as a cornerstone of Boise culture at a City Club lunch forum Thursday, March 17.
Also speaking are Ryan Peck, co-founder of Boise Rock School; and Ron Lester, past potentate of the El Korah Shrine, one Treefort's surprisingly popular venues.
Maura Romano, a student from Boise Rock School, will sing and play solo acoustic guitar.
The forum is 11:45-1:15 p.m. at The Grove Hotel. Cost is $18 for members, $25 for non-members, $10 for students and $5 to listen only. Deadline to register is Tuesday noon: cityclubofboise.org.
