5 Things To Do This Weekend in Boise
1. BUY A DIAMOND IN THE GEM STATE
This Diamond is even affordable. Cheesy-fun Neil Diamond tribute group Super Diamond is back in the Treasure Valley for the first time in years — Friday at the Revolution Center. Tickets are only $15. I dare you to try not to sing along.

2. SEE STAND-UP
After dipping his funny bone tepidly into Idaho waters for a Sunday-night-only show in 2015, Andy Kindler has returned to Liquid Laughs for three entire nights: Thursday through Saturday. Ostensibly, this is to celebrate the fact we are a Cruz rather than Trump state. Comedian Lewis Black also is in town, but the show is sold out Saturday at the Egyptian.

3. DO ST. PADDY’S DAY EARLY
Who needs a weekday hangover? Party down Irish-style on Saturday with the Young Dubliners, who will perform at the Knitting Factory. Or sit down and be a bit more proper with Solas, whose Sunday show is nearly sold out. There were tickets left for the band’s Monday’s show at the Sapphire Room when I posted this.

4. GRAB A BITE
Oops, check that. You can’t take food into the Morrison Center auditorium. However, if things get exciting, “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan might get a bite Sunday — on the hand. (Let’s hope not, OK?) [Tickets]

5. BE A HOMEBODY
OK, this is actually NEXT weekend. But the multi-day Boise Spring Home Show kicks off Thursday at Expo Idaho. Get off the couch and do those fixer-upper projects, ya bum. You’ve got an extra hour this weekend to start planning, right?
