Aaron Paul to host Boise screening of new movie
When it comes to throwing a movie party at his old stomping grounds, former “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul doesn’t meth around.
The Boise-raised actor uncorked two tweets Feb. 12 announcing that he will host an advance screening of his latest film, “Triple 9,” on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the historic Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St. in Downtown Boise.
It will be on February 24th and you can win tickets by listening to your local town square stations. Hope to see you there!!

With Paul as ringleader, the heist-thriller flick will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Final details are being worked out with Townsquare Media, but fans will find out how to win tickets by listening to radio stations Mix 106, 107.9 Lite FM, 103.5 Kiss FM, 580 AM KIDO, 630 AM The Fan and Wow Country 104.3 FM.
It’s not the first time that Paul has taken over the Egyptian. In 2014, he invited 800 fans and pals to watch a final-season “Breaking Bad” episode.
To dispense tickets for that event, Paul organized a scavenger hunt through social media. How will it go this time? Maybe a combination of on-air radio giveaways and something cooked up by Paul? Either way, the 36-year-old actor is expected to announce those details himself, according to Townsquare Media.
