Deeds: 5 Things You Should Do this Weekend in Boise

Sorry, the cheap seats to Kevin Hart’s concert are long gone. Don’t like it? “Get out!”

1. HAVE A HART

Is there a hotter comedian on the planet than Kevin Hart? Short answer (as in 5-foot-4): No. Laugh it up with a packed house Saturday at Taco Bell Arena. [Tickets]

2. BRONCO UP

Losing sucks. After last week’s game-ending play, Boise State (7-3 overall, 4-2 Mountain West) has just one option: Man up and defend the triple-option. Conference-leading Air Force (7-3, 5-1) will bring that offense to the final regular-season home game of the season Friday at Albertsons Stadium. [Tickets]

3. BANG YER HEAD

Burn off some steam (and calories). Post-hardcore band The Fall of Troy headlines a show Friday at Neurolux, but opener Kylesa is more badass. Female vocals and two drummers set the Southern band apart in the sludge-metal genre. [Tickets]

4. GET BENGT

Utah-raised comedian Bengt Washburn excels at joking about his Mormon upbringing. And ever since he married an Air Force officer, he's found new fans in Mountain Home. "We both have people jobs, " he’s explained. "I make people laugh. She kills them." Washburn headlines at Liquid all weekend. [Tickets]

5. STEAMROLL GRANDMA

Take Grandma out on the town for a 3 p.m. concert, no less! Holiday favorites Mannheim Steamroller will visit the Morrison Center for two shows on Saturday. (The other is at 8 p.m.) [Tickets]

This is by no means a complete list of every cool thing happening. Got other suggestions? Share ’em in the comments. Want more entertainment news? Track me on Twitter or Facebook.
