With 6th concert revealed, summer is shaping up at Boise’s main outdoor venue

The summer concert calendar is heating up in Boise.

Reggae-rockers Slightly Stoopid have been booked at the Idaho Botanical Garden’s Outlaw Field. The beach-loving SoCal group will headline a show Thursday, July 30, with opening acts The Elovaters and DENM.

Tickets become available to the general public starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, for $66 at Ticketmaster. Idaho Botanical Garden members can buy them for $61 starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, which is also the day presales begin.

When the show rolls around, fans should plan on arriving slightly early. Music will start at 6:30 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Announcing its Road Trippin Summer Tour on social media, Slightly Stoopid said that “a portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Ghetto Youths Foundation to assist Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica.”

Slightly Stoopid is the sixth concert revealed so far at 4,000-capacity Outlaw Field. The venue, which is Boise’s main outdoor music destination inside city limits, normally features a dozen or more events each summer.

The others are Iration with Tribal Seeds on Friday, June 12; Kaleo on Friday, July 10; Rainbow Kitten Surprise with Spacey Jane on Tuesday, July 14; The Australian Pink Floyd on Friday, July 31; and Bonnie Raitt on Thursday, Sept. 10.
