With 3rd concert revealed, summer is taking shape at Boise’s main outdoor venue
Shake off the winter shivers, Boise. Think summer concerts.
Outlaw Field, the main outdoor venue inside city limits, has revealed its third show of the coming season.
Blues-rockers Kaleo will headline the Idaho Botanical Garden’s grassy music destination on Friday, July 10.
Tickets are available now for Garden members, costing $47.50 at Ticketmaster. They go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday for 52.50. A still-to-be-decided opening act will kick off the 7 p.m. show.
Based in Iceland, Kaleo is on its “Way Down We Go Tour,” celebrating the 10-year anniversary of its debut album “A/B.”
“We are truly honored that the music still means so much to so many people,” frontman JJ Julius Son said in a press release, “and we’re planning an entirely new show we think our fans are going to love.”
Hits from that album included “All The Pretty Girls,” “No Good” and the smash “Way Down We Go,” which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Rock chart, and “has nearly 4 billion streams and has been featured in over 3 million TikToks worldwide,” according to a press release.
Kaleo is the third show revealed so far at Outlaw Field, which normally features a dozen or more concerts each year.
The other concerts are Iration with Tribal Seeds on Friday, June 12, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise with Spacey Jane on Tuesday, July 14.
