He was one of Forbes’ highest-earning comedians. He’s coming to a Boise arena

A hilarious, food-obsessed comedian who has become a worldwide success will return to Boise next year.

Funny man Jim Gaffigan has been booked to headline June 11 at ExtraMile Arena at Boise State University. It’s part of Gaffigan’s Everything is Wonderful Tour. Tickets become available to the public starting at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster. (Prices were not available yet.) A presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Visit jimgaffigan.com for more information.

Gaffigan is one of the most popular comics on the planet. Pulling in $30 million, he ranked No. 3 on Forbes’ list of the “Highest-Earning Stand-Up Comedians of 2019.”

Known as a “clean” comic, Gaffigan’s observation-based humor generates wide appeal. In 2020, he became the first comedian to reach a billion streams on an audio streaming service — in this case, Pandora. His books include The New York Times bestsellers “Dad is Fat” and “Food: A Love Story.”

Jim Gaffigan, a press release explains, “is an eight-time Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy winning top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist.”
