This news will bring you Joy: Outlaw Field in Boise reveals 1st outdoor concert for ’24

Fall weather got you longing for outdoor concerts again?

Cheer up. The Idaho Botanical Garden has revealed its first show for 2024.

After nearly selling out the 4,000-capacity venue two summers ago, Mt. Joy will return for a show Thursday, Aug. 15. Tickets to the general public become available starting at 10 a.m. this Friday for $49.50 at Ticketmaster. They’ll be $44.50 when they go on sale early — at 10 a.m. Tuesday — for Idaho Botanical Garden members.

Since releasing its self-titled debut album in 2018, Mt. Joy has built a following with folk-laced indie-rock songs such as “Silver Lining,” “Jenny Jenkins” and “Strangers.”

Prior to its Outlaw Field show in 2022, the Philadelphia band sold out the 999-capacity Knitting Factory in Boise in 2021.
