Make a splash
Roaring Springs Waterpark makes its annual big splash at 11 a.m. Saturday, opening for the 2022 season. It could be a little chilly — temperatures are forecast in the low 70s. But Sunday is looking toasty, with temperatures in the 80s. And don’t forget: The water is heated at Roaring Springs, which is located at 400 W. Overland Road in Meridian. It’ll be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.

▪ More of a grape stomper? From 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, the Taste of Caldwell Wine Festival will offer wine tastings — and bottle sales — with a focus on local Sunnyslope labels. A $45 ticket includes a tasting passport with 12 tastings tickets and a commemorative glass.
