Tool is coming back, Boise. How fast will the concert sell out this time?
Bust out your credit card, headbangers.
Tool is coming back. The wildly popular hard-rock act will perform Saturday, March 14, at the Ford Idaho Center. The band sold out 9,500 tickets in about 10 minutes when it performed there in 2017, according to promoter Live Nation.
Because of the size of the production this time around — 15 semi-trucks’ worth — only about 9,000 tickets are expected to be available.
Tickets go on sale for $65, $85 and $125 at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at ICTickets. There will be no presales. An opening act hasn’t been announced, but it’s part of the plan.
If you’re a fan, don’t wait around to buy tickets. Tool is just as hot as ever. The band’s latest record, “Fear Inoculum,” was the biggest-selling rock album of 2019.
