If you missed Kenny Chesney at the Mountain Home Country Music Festival in 2016, you’re in luck.

The singer will return to Idaho for an outdoor concert next summer in Nampa.

Chesney will headline Thursday, July 5, at the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater. Country quintet Old Dominion will open for Chesney.

Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ICTickets for $39.75 lawn, $79.75 reserved, $99.75 reserved and $109.75 general-admission pit.

Chesney, who also performed at Taco Bell Arena in Boise four years ago, will be spearheading his “Trip Around the Sun Tour 2018.” According to Chesney’s official website, the tour “will gather up all that energy and all the new songs from ‘The Big Revival’ and ‘Cosmic Hallelujah,’ mix them with everyone’s favorites, add in a few wild cards and hit the road like only Chesney can.”

Up for some tailgating? This concert should be a great opportunity. Parking will be $5, and parking lots will open at 11 a.m. day of show before closing at midnight.

If you’re looking to stay overnight, RV and camping spots will be available for $200 per night for full hook up, or $150 per night for self-contained. There’s a $100 non-refundable deposit required. Call (208) 442-3335 to reserve a spot. Credit cards only.
