2 new concerts announced at CenturyLink Arena, Hawks stadium

Is spring here yet? Two major concerts in May were announced today — one indoors at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, another outdoors at Memorial Stadium in Garden City.

▪  British rock band The 1975, who delivered one of 2016’s best albums, will headline CenturyLink Arena on Wednesday, May 3. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at CenturyLinkArenaBoise.com for $35 general admission seating in the bowl, $45 general admission on the floor. (The floor tickets — standing, not seated — are limited to 1,500 total.)

▪  Seattle electronica duo Odesza will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 20, as part of the second annual Summerfield Concerts at Memorial Stadium series. Tickets go on sale Friday at 11 a.m. at TicketWeb for $35 general admission lawn. (They go up $5 day of show.)
