Alive After Five starts season on Boise Basque Block Wednesday

Alive After Five kicks off its summer season Wednesday evening at its temporary location on the Basque Block.

This is the Downtown Boise summer concert series’ 30th annual season, but it won’t be at The Grove Plaza this go-around. The Grove is under renovation and won’t be hosting events until the tree lighting ceremony in November.

But you can still enjoy free downtown tunes every Wednesday evening on the Basque Block until the season wraps up Aug. 31.

The first headliner for the season playing Wednesday is Kaleo, an Icelandic rock band.
