Books are still the best way to experience a story. And you can get them by the bag full at the annual Spring Book Sale to benefit the Boise Public Library from Wednesday, April 6, through Sunday, April 10.

Need a good read? Head to the Boise Public Library’s Spring Book Sale, where you’ll find more 100,000 titles at bargain prices. Fill a grocery bag with books for just $9. Choose from a mix of genres, hardcover and softcover books, vintage magazines, plus music on vinyl and CD, and films on VHS and DVD. Items such as coffeetable books, cookbooks and book sets are individually priced. Members of Friends of the Boise Public Library get first pick, so it might be a good time to join at BoisePublicLibrary.org or join or renew at the door. Memberships start at $10. Produced by Friends of the Boise Public Library, proceeds benefit the Library system’s inventory and educational programs.

4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 (members only); 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, and Friday, April 8; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 9; and 10 a.m-5 p.m. Sunday, April 10, Boise Public Library Warehouse, 762 River St. Free to attend.
