Stigers goes ‘Unplugged’ for a third night of ‘Xtreme’

Jazz artist Curtis Stigers has added a third night — Saturday, Dec. 19 — to his “Xtreme Holiday Xtravaganza” entertainment blow out. The other nights (Sunday and Monday, Dec. 20-21) are sold out. So check out “The Night Before the Xtreme — Unplugged,” a softer side of the popular annual holiday event. The lineup is filled with some of Boise’s best singers and songwriters, who will perform acoustic arrangements of original and traditional holiday songs. You’ll hear Stigers, Bill Coffey, Belinda Bowler, Frim Fram Four, Eilen Jewell and Dave Manion, just to name a few. This extra night will benefit Corpus Christi House, a day shelter for Boise’s homeless population. (The other two nights will still benefit Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services.)

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 (doors open at 6 p.m.), Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St., Boise. $50 at CurtisStigers.com and the box office.
