Nampa Parks & Rec invites you to ‘Stroll & Splash’ with your pooch

Nampa is going to the dogs. Well, at least for one day when pets and their owners are invited to spend the morning at Lakeview Park for the annual “Pool Party Stroll & Splash.”
Nampa is going to the dogs. Well, at least for one day when pets and their owners are invited to spend the morning at Lakeview Park for the annual “Pool Party Stroll & Splash.” Provided by Nampa Parks and Recreation

Help support the Nampa Parks and Recreation Amity Dog Park at the annual “Pooch Party Stroll & Splash.” Pets and their people take a 1-mile walk around Lakeview Park, then end up at the pool for a cooling splash down. You’ll also find pet-friendly vendors and a raffle, entertainment, contests and more. You also get an adult T-shirt and a surprise doggie gift.

9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, Lakeview Park, 1304 7th St., N., Nampa. $25 through Tuesday, Aug. 23, $30 after. $10 more for each additional dog, at NampaParksAndRecreation.org, or at any Zamzows.
