The annual Pepsi Nightfire Nationals will celebrate its 45th year as the who’s who of drag racing make their way to Eagle’s Firebird Raceway to tear up the track and vie for $185,000 in prize money. This is one of the top events of its kind in the nation, drawing racers from 15 states and Canada. This year’s field is led by Tony Bartone, reigning two-time AA/Fuel Dragster national champ, and defending Funny Car World Champion Steven Densham, pictured.
Thursday, Aug. 11 to Sunday, Aug. 14, Firebird Raceway, five miles north of Idaho 44 on Idaho 16, northwest of Eagle.
