Slam dunks, 3-pointers in Downtown Boise at BAM Jam

Check out 3-on-3 basketball action all weekend near the intersection of 6th and Bannock Streets in Downtown Boise. Basketball teams will battle in games going on all day on more than 20 courts. At Boise BAM Jam, players range from school-age kids to talented adults. Food vendors and other booths will fill Capitol Park. Got a good shot? Walk up Saturday until 3 p.m. and sign up for $3 to participate in the 3-point Challenge. Able to dunk? Sign up for that contest for free. Can’t do either but love to watch? Both the Slam Dunk Championship and the 3-Point Challenge Finals will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the steps of the Capitol. Championship games for the 3-on-3 tourney will take place Sunday afternoon.
